Mark and Cathy Pemberton are photographers with passions for travel and for sharing their experiences. Their adventures have included photographing landscapes and wildlife throughout the United States, Canada, Iceland, Africa, Brazil, Costa Rica, Japan, Svalbard, Mongolia, Southeast Asia and Madagascar. Out of their experiences has grown a commitment to the conservation and preservation of our planet’s resources and wildlife.

More recently we have become increasingly interested in cultural photography and travel portraiture. As stated by many experts, “travel broadens the mind”. This proverb suggests that stepping outside of our familiar environments fosters intellectual and emotional growth. Immersion in different cultures, facing new challenges, and breaking everyday routines challenges our assumptions and develops greater empathy for others.

Hopefully our photographs will bring you enjoyment and perhaps a greater appreciation of our planet.
